Dominion volunteers are part of more than just game day.

You’ll find our crew at practices, scrimmages, and drills developing skating skills, supporting gameplay, and helping keep everything running smoothly. Many of our officials come from diverse backgrounds, including skating, other sports, and former derby skaters, bringing a wide range of experience and perspective to the team.

Being part of Dominion means:

Our crew provides hands-on training in real practice and scrimmage environments, helping you build confidence, develop skills, and grow as a volunteer official.

Whether your goal is to officiate local games or work toward WFTDA, MRDA, or JRDA opportunities, Dominion will support you every step of the way.

As a Dominion volunteer official, you’ll enjoy:

A fully-staffed crew typically consists of seven referees and eleven NSOs (non-skating officials). Together, they work as a unified volunteer team to ensure safe, fair, and continuous gameplay, keeping the game running smoothly from start to finish.
