February 2026: Dallas Junior All Stars

The season may be just starting for the Dallas Derby Devils, but the Rolling Rebellion has already come in hot. In early Feb, the team won 3 of their 4 games at The Great Salt Quake Tournament, and more recently, they took the win against NE Oklahoma Junior Roller Derby at their first home game.

Of course, it’s not just being competitive and winning that makes the Junior All-Stars such a rewarding experience. Frightmare, current captain of the Junior All-Stars, said some of her favorite moments with the team have been, “[…] the traveling and having a tight knit group of friends to experience everything with.”

Oblivi8 echoed the sentiment, saying it’s the people she’s loved the most.

“Over the several years that I have skated here I have met some of the greatest people and best friends,” she said.

For some Junior All-Stars, this season marks the last chapter in their junior derby journey, but not the end. We’re so thrilled to have watched our seniors grow their skills and confidence both on and off the track, and can’t wait to see what they go on to do next.

And as for what the future holds?

“My future derby goal is to play with Austin Anarchy and Rockin’ City's A charter next year and play with some other ex-junior skaters!” said Oblivi8. “Dallas Derby Devils has been one of the greatest support systems for me growing up - I have loved every second of this league!!!”

Frightmare said, “My future goals are to find a team to play with during college and to stay as active and skilled in derby like Quadzilla is.”

Be sure to cheer on the Junior All-Stars next month at Clover Cup, along with the DDD All-Stars, Y’allhalla, and all of our wonderful guests!
